Wangedigala Hike
This two-day private hiking & camping experience will cover everything. A scenic route through pine forests, grasslands, waterfalls and at the top, a one of a kind view! The hike in Wangedigala Mountain is famous among local adventure hikers.
The climb to Wangedigala requires a bit of stamina and for an average hiker, it can take around 3-4 hours to go to the top of the mountain. In the end, your effort will be rewarded with tons of beautiful natural sights.
Before it's time to hike, I will help you to be fully ready for the journey to the top with tips & tricks. Remember, once you start to hike it will be just nature, and us. I will make sure you are prepared for an amazing time!
Once at the top, set up camp, light a bonfire, and enjoy the natural light show of tons stars sparkling in the night sky. The best is yet to come! The morning sunrise is a beautiful reminder of how amazing life is! Spot a couple of different species of orchids as well at the top.
On the way back down, visit the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka called Bambarakanda. Have a refreshing bath at the natural swimming pool available at the bottom of the waterfall. Now you are set to go!
